Solo trip to Brienzer Rothorn

In the last post when I said it was the last hike of the season I kind of lied. We're hiking all year round, of course!

It was going to be a beautiful day at elevation, and I could see from the webcams there was a good inversion forming. I decided to go for Brienzer Rothorn, as the Sörenberg cable car was still running. I did it the easy way where you start high up and hike down >1000m of elevation instead of the other way around. I couldn't find anyone else who was free midweek, so it was just me and my bestie the Mamiya 6, and all of his lenses:

When I got to the start of the hike, I still had one shot left of Lomo Turquoise and popped that off:

Nöd so guet. Whatever. Then I loaded some Ektar and started blasting:

Then my first roll of Phoenix II. Didn't hate it! But there was a coating defect as you can see in some of the shots. Alex told me to report it to Harman and they eventually sent me some free film!

Some expired tri-x, but they were all taken in the same shot and kind of boring:

That last shot was weird. Somehow my Mamiya 6 thought he was set on 1/15 even though he was definitely set on AEL. Haven't seen that issue again, at least.

Shot one last roll of Ektar as I went over Höch Gumme:

Had lunch at that hut in the last image, then had to descend into the cloud layer:

Below the clouds it was sunny somehow:

Had to make a run for the train on the other side of the lake from the gondola, but made it in time and and was home for dinner!
